The story is set on the southern tip of Africa - one hour east of the prison where Nelson Mandela was incarcerated on Robben Island:
Calvin gets there before forensics and is allowed within the police cordon. He inspects the evidence and with his nail he surreptitiously harvests a tiny bit of tissue from the remnants of the arm that washed up. The gouge marks on the bone indicate Great White sharks, but he is not surprised as Shark Alley is only six kilometers out to sea. Soon DNA analysis confirms the arm belongs to agent Robert Roux. Someone has to pay and Scott Davis is dispatched to hunt down Roux's killer.
Duncan Clews writes 'I really enjoyed the book!! ...gripping writing and a beautifully varied tale - did not want it to end.'
